Testing and Quality Control

All of our products are tested by accredited third party test labs before release. As well, existing products are periodically retested to ensure we continue to surpass industry and regulatory standards.

Materials and Processes

Wood

Responsible sourcing is important to us. Our cribs, dressers, and nightstands are constructed using sustainable American poplar and/or pine hardwood.

All engineered wood pieces are fully TSCA Title VI compliant.

Stains and Paints

Wood finishes are water-based and non-toxic. 

Foam

Because we know our products need to be safe for the whole family, we only select foams that meet high CertiPUR-US standards. That means foams across all of our products including rockers, recliners, ottomans, kids chairs, bassinets, and toddler beds are free from any flame retardants or Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs).

Product Safety Measures and Assurances

Full-Size Baby Cribs

There should be no safer place for your baby than their crib. That’s why we’ve gone out of our way to not just meet but exceed CPSIA standards for both lead and phthalates.

Regardless of design, all of our cribs have slats set no more than 2 ⅜” apart and a slat strength of at least 80 lbs.

Our cribs feature adjustable mattress supports made from a sturdy metal frame for optimum comfort and security.

Dressers and Changers

To ensure your child's safety, we include an optional anti-tip kit with every dresser. The kit allows your dresser to be attached to the wall to prevent tips and falls.

We test all dressers and changers for tipping entrapment before release.
